Support Us

WeCanRow DC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers. We rely on grants and donations to fund our learn-to-row, educational and some racing programs and other services.  WeCanRow DC members pay for their participation in individual rowing programs.  All donations will be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Financial Support If you would like to make a donation, you can use PayPal or contact us at wecanrow@comcast.net In-kind Donations WeCanRow DC welcomes in-kind donations of goods and services.  For example, licensed massage therapists contribute their services for our Learn-to-Row weekend. There are also opportunities for people with rowing experience, specifically coaching or coxing expertise, to help out during the rowing season. If you would like to know more, please contact us. Acknowledgements WeCanRow depends on the generosity of local rowing clubs for all of its programs. We are grateful to Capital Rowing Club and the Anacostia Community Boathouse Association, Potomac Boat Club and Alexandria Community Rowing for hosting our various programs and fundraising events. Without these clubs and their wonderful members, WeCanRow DC would not exist. We also gratefully acknowledge the contributions of the following organizations: Calm Waters Rowing - A B&B / sculling center that generously offers discounts to WeCanRow DC members. Luci Gabel - Luci is our winter fitness instructor and a personal trainer Lululemon Athletica - donates gift bags to our annual Learn-to-Row event.
